How do you set your timezone in cacko?? I tried to change it but the app freaks out and dumps back to the main screen.

Well crap, now my wifi card doesn't work! What would be different between full and lite that would make it stop working? It's an AmbiCom WL1100C.

why not use the sharprom? i can give you a list of stuff you can do to make it run good. cacko is fine but i frankly like the native stuff. meanie is giving us the oportunity of running pdaxrom ontop of cacko and sharprom. great huh!

I didn't like the kanji showing up on stuff. I really don't like the sharp pim apps either.

I see /usr/share.rom/zoneinfo/localtime, but that symlinks to a non-existent /etc/localtime. I'm not sure what's up with your setup, Barry, but I have not had any problems with timezones.

Thats strange about the Cacko lite not working with Timezones.
I tried Cacko lite and it works fine setting Timezones. I had to switch to full version since USB support etc were not nuilt in in Cacko lite (USB modules had to be installed seperately). So once you set the Timezone to whatever - what happens on yoursetup ? It goes back to main screen, but what is the date/time set after that ? |
