I found this site for QTparted and decided to see if this could work on a Zaurus.
http://qtparted.sourceforge.net/ The source is also there, but I really haven't figured out how to compile stuff. http://sourceforge.net/project/showfiles.php?group_id=72497 My first attempt is to get this to work under Sharp/Cacko. (I later found some of the dependencies are X11 files) So maybe this would work in pdaxrom. I then downloaded "qtparted_0.4.5-3_armel.deb" from this page: http://packages.debian.org/sid/qtparted Then I used Meanie's "ipkg_tools" - "deb2ipk" This made a nice little IPK of the Debian armel qtparted package, but it looks like there is a small problem: Below from this page: http://packages.debian.org/sid/qtparted is a long list of dependencies. I want to know if all of these, or the very required ones could be ported to arm? CODE dep: gksu

I doubt it will run on Cacko, as it's using the X11 QT libs.
As for running a graphical partition manager under X, I think GParted would be a better bet. |
