Ok, I tried OM/Pi again, hoping that it wouldn't show blank message bodies anymore.
Now when I open up my IMAP inbox, and then try to open an actual mail message, OM/Pi just goes away. As in shuts down. So I seem worse off than before. I can see the subject, sender, etc. in the cute little boxes at the bottom, but I can't actually open the message up at all. This also happens if download the mail and try to view it in the "Local Folders" section. I can go look at the files in the folder with a text editor. If it makes any difference, I have pointed my root folder to a folder on my SD card, so the mail is sitting in /mnt/card/kdepim/apps/kopiemail/localmail/account name/ |

Then I can try to find the reason. My mail address in in the about window in OM/Pi. Thx, z. |

Congratulations!
KOpieMial/Pi is the first working IMAP client I have found for my Zaurus! Finally I can really use my IMAP email on my Z! (Sylpheed was pretty good, but running Xqt every time I wanted to look at email gets old, and there was no "download" feature.) Thanks a million! |

hi zautrix
in versions 1.9.20 and 2.0.0.0 the todo view has changed: in the setting "hide not running todos in todo-view" (and don't show completed todos intodo-view) there are no "due today" and "overdue" todos anymore in the todo-view. personally i think they should be listed as they are still active todos. i don't like the workaround through "showing all Todos in todo view" as i am getting too many todos in my weekly view. any chance to get this back ? i think in 1.9.18 it used to be like that, unfortunately i have deleted the package and can't get it anywhere an sourceforge brisko |

Beautiful work!
The main thing i've found that was strange is that in OM/Pi, when an attachment is saved, it doesn't default to the name of the attachment file being saved. As noted before, embedded emails are still not shown as embedded, simply attachments. I still haven't really figured out the way that the mail synchronization works. It seems a bit esoteric. |

Oops, guess i found a bug.
When using the timer in KO/Pi, and the screen saver is on (i can't seem to get it to turn off since updating to Cacko 1.22), the timer alarm sounds, and after tapping the screen all that is visible are two of the buttons on the alarm pop-up. The first time i was able to push the power button and then wake it back up to get the screen back. The second time, i tried random clicking around the blank area of the screen, and Qtopia crashed and restarted. |

Hi,
now (PIM/PI 2.0) allmost everything is perfect for me. I'm happy with PWM/PI, since the option to import csv-files made it possible to get all my ZSafe stuff in, without having to retype everything. Minor issue: KO/PI: sometimes the jump bar won't show at start (fastload enabled) Wish: KA/PI: It'd add much to usability, if multiple use of calendar-button would cycle through views (°°°dream°°° configureable), instead of just switching (and staying there) to what's next view. Meanwhile i was able to sent my faithful Palm V into retirement - thanks to Cacko and PIM/PI. Greetz, j. |

Might want to grey out the input text fields in kopimail/pi "General" settings when using the KAPI settings to set who you are.
If you change a birthday event, it will get added again with the default settings when you import birthdays in KO/pi I still can't seem to sync over IR to my phone (device can't be accessed error), although beaming vCal events works fine. |

Great to see OM/pi and KA/pi work together
One issue with kopiemail and pop. It seems that each time the inbox folder of an account is selected the entire content is downloaded from the server. I've got about 100mails in there and that takes a while. Meanwhile om/pi remains frozen. After all mail is downloaded I can browse the email list and read email. Then, select another folder and then go back to the inbox, same thing again. Disconnect the zaurus and OM/pi tries to download again, and remains unresponsive for the rest of the evening. |

The release notes mention the wrong version number (1.9.20)
There are also silly carriage returns that break lines when reading it in portrait mode on a Z. Zautrix, do you want me to make a temp bug/quirks list again? |

Whoa...did I miss the stealth week view in the release notes? I clicked on the week number on the left in the Month view, and I get a (Palm/Outlook)-style 2-column week view! This is great! It's not really highlighted in the release notes, or maybe I just glossed over it...
I'm thrilled just to have it, but now that I'm using it, it would probably work better as a first-class view (like day, workweek, month) with its own icon. Switching back-and-forth from month-view-in-month-mode and month-view-in-week-mode is cumbersome. When I hit the "month view" button and context-switch from some other mode (journal entry etc) I don't expect to see only a week's worth of events. Plus the navigation metaphor is broken: the "<" and ">" buttons on top of the view take you to the next month, so from the week beginning Feb14 I get to the week beginning Mar 14. Whereas the same buttons on the window toolbar go to next week and next month. It's unintuitive and confusing. While some people may find navigating to this-week-in-next-month useful, the most likely thing for a user to want to see is the next week and there's no button to do that. In that sense there should be 3 buttons in week mode: ">" (next week), ">>" (next month) and ">>>" (next year). So I'm lobbying for 1) making it an independent view with a button on top, and 2) allowing the user to select which buttons appear on the toolbar, since they already run out of room in portrait mode on my C860. I never use the journal & list view buttons, for instance, which would allow me to see the navigation buttons without having to click through to the continuation dropdown menu. Also in the suggestions category, I find the "dashed line" for the half-hour demarcation in the Week view a little disorienting/distracting. (I'm an advocate for Tufte-style visual minimalism in UI design). What would be nice is to have an option to set the line color, weight & style for the main grid and the 1/2 hour lines. (Since you're presumably just setting Qt::PenStyle anyway to get the dashed lines this shouldn't be particularly burdensome.) |
