Has anyone hooked a C3k (or any other Zaurus) up to an Ipod?
It seems to recognize it as a mass storage device, but I couldn't mount it. It does not seem to recognize the partition scheme. This would hopefully not have the same problems as a regular usb disk, since it has its own batteries. It wouldn't be able to charge off the Z of course. |

You can format your ipod so windows can read it, which the Zaurus can read also. I haven't tried hooking up my ipod to it yet, but will tomorrow.

Yes, I have, and it works fine if it's a Windows-formatted iPod. Make sure to mount /dev/sda2, because /dev/sda1 is a special 35 mb iPod partition. Everything works from there. Unmounting the iPod will not remove the "Do Not Disconnect" message, although I've learned to distrust that message.
