Dear Friends,
I got my Netwalker online and ran the Ubuntu system upgrade. I lost all my Desktop Icons. Any ideas? Thanks in advance! |

You're referring to those big icons, right? To be honest, they also disappeared on my device but I can't remember what I did to cause this anymore. Now, I have no icons except for storage devices, if any are available.
(I hated those big icons anyway so I'm fine with that.) Sorry I couldn't be of any assistance. |

Not owning one I do not know what icons are in question.
But if they are just the default ubuntu ones, you can fix those by running gconf-editor and in the apps \ nautilus \ desktop area check whatever items you want visible. |
