Okay, just got around to trying to get this to work. I'm running Qtopia 1.5.4, kernel 2.4.20 (Maslovsky compiled) and Cacko 1.23.1029311005, and I'm wondering what is up.
I have a Planex GW-CF11X card that I'm assuming is supposed to work under Cacko, but when I plug it in, it attempts to connect, and fails. Here's the cardctl info for it: product info: "PLANEX COMMUNICATIONS INC.", "PLANEX GW-CF11X Wireless CD Card", "", "" manfid: 0xd601, 0x0010 function: 6 (network) so I went poking around in the /etc/pcmcia folders, and everything that I've seen so far says to modify wlan-ng.conf, which I don't have. Has this been changed to hostap_cs.conf? I believe this card is a prism, so I should be able to make a new entry for it in one of these confs, pointing to a prism_cs module? Or is this handled again by hostap_cs? Where would that module be then? /lib/modules/2.4.20/pcmcia ? or something like that? |
