Hi,
I'm thinking of trying out OZ again as I haven't used it in a while and it seems to be coming on in leaps and bounds. However, after looking at the release notes and the forum I have a few questions about partitioning. I'm currently running Cacko 1.22a so I guess I need to, some how, get back to Sharp's original partitioning layout. The suggested way is to do a Sharp NAND restore. So far I haven't found a NAND backup anywhere for a C860 could someone post a link if this is the only way to do it? However, NAND restores worry me a little. Is there another, less drastic, way I could change the partitioning? Cheers, ltrm. |

i think (but not sure) that during the Cacko rom installation process, you can partition your Z back to it's original state. Have a look at this.
Anyway, NAND restore is not a problem. I did it seeveral times on my c750, and works like a charm. Just download the good file for your Z ( http://downloads.conics.net/pda/zaurus-sl-...iginal-backups/ ), check the md5 sum, proceed carefully and it's done ! good luck ! alan |

Don't worry, even if NAND fails you still have the NOR recover which you can't destroy.
