Hey guys, do you know where I can find a stylus for my Z? None of the electonic stores around here have a clue. :?
Thanks! |

Fits about as good as origional? and by (origional) you mean aftermarket/3rd party ones don't work?

It fits well, looks out for about 2 mm.
As it has a "spring" inside - you tap it and it extends for about 20 mm. So its easy to take it out. I use it for about 1 year now after the original stylus broke. And it is available in almost all shops selling pda equipment. First replacment I tried was a plastic only remake (do not remember the brand) fitted into the slot but didnt work very well. after taking it in and out a couple of times I had the upper part only in my hand. |

You can buy a two pack on Amazon for 10 bucks, and they're metal with plastic tips, much better.

I switched to one of those 4-in-1 pens with a stylus. It's a pain sometimes to carry around the extra pen, but it does fit in my leather case, so it's no problem when I use that. I always hated the Z's stylus as it's significantly shorter than most PDA's. Using a full-size pen stylus is so much mor comfortable, it's worth it to have to carry it around. (I keep the stylus for when I don't feel like it)

QUOTE Good replacement:
(original) Palm Tungsten T Stylus This has become my prefered stylus, still have the original stylus for my Z but I just like the feel of the Tungtsen stylus better and the extra length when it's extended is great, it's fits my grasp nicely. I have one of those 4 in one lens also but I hate carrying any more than I have too. |

Go for the PDAir stylus from the Brando Workshop. It comes out of Hong Kong but the shipping is really fast -- I think I got mine in 3 or 4 days... and I think the total comes to like $18 US after shipping. (I don't have a link on me though -- just google Brando Workshop) its the same size and shape as the original stylus -- the only difference really is that it has a pen inside it.
