the c3200 looks pretty ugly on pictures, but then darkage showed me his 3200 and it actually looks pretty good. the silver finish actually looks alright up close and it immediately reminded me of a libretto. the 3200 really looks like a mini libretto if you take a second look and think about it. i tried taking a picture of the 3200 but it looked ugly on the picture. i guess the silver is too reflective and thus makes the c3200 not very photogenic. my verdict is, looks ugly on pictures but very good up close. it will fail in a career as a model unlike its brother the 3100 or the c1000

I was tempted to but the C3200, but to me the silver finish makes it look cheap. I decided to loose 2GB and go with the classic black look of the C3100, which I have not been dissapointed.

from what I've read the 3100 is more over-clockable which gives it a technological edge over the 3200. Anyway, you're going to open it up and replace the itsy microdrive to the latest 20GB one, or even a 16GB compact flash card?!

QUOTE(speculatrix @ Sep 26 2006, 03:41 AM) Anyway, you're going to open it up and replace the itsy microdrive to the latest 20GB one, or even a 16GB compact flash card?! Where are there 16GB CF cards nowdays? I've only seen 8GB ones. EDIT: nevermind, I found a 16GB CF here: http://www.noticias3d.com/articulo.asp?idarticulo=573&pag=3 This post has been edited by Jon_J: Sep 26 2006, 08:19 AM

Samsung said long ago they'd be launching 16, 32 & 64 GB cards 2nd half of this year... but they'll probably be a tad expensive :-)

I don't like the look of the 3200 much. OTOH, I could be biased. I swapped the top on my 3100 with the one off of a 1000, so my 3100 is 98% black now, and looks better than any other Z
Of course, my 1000 looks a little strange with the silver top, but I don't carry it everyday, so I don't care |
