I have an SL-5600...I bought it Sept 2003 and it looks like the battery is not holding a charge anymore. Does the battery come with a warranty or just the unit itself.

Do you have bluetooth? Specifically do you have the suspend patch installed.
I had the same thing with my C760 and found out it was never going into suspend (standby). |

No I don't have bluetooth with this model. I've used it fine for the longest time (well since Sept anyway). Then last week it didn't turn on...I could have sworn I charged it...so I charged it again...it turned on and worked fine.
However the very next day it didn't turn on again (and this time I was 100% sure I had just charged it). I've got an email into Sharp asking them the same question. I'd hate to spend $60-80 on a new battery if it's covered under a warranty. |

Well Sharp got back to me....it does have a warranty but it's only 90 days....so I'm SOL....bummer. Anyone know of a good place to buy batteries?
