I want to add russian language to my OZ.

well you need to add the russian languag package. you can find it here:
http://opie.handhelds.org/feed/openzaurus/...s/1.1.3/SL5xxx/ just pick your gcc version and it's in that directory. It's one of the opie-i18n files, probably opie-i18n-ru_1.1.3_all.ipk for russian. I'm not running OZ so anyone with more knowledge please correct me. If OZ doesn't come with it already (and i think it does) you will need to install the language config tool: opie-language_1.1.3_arm.ipk or something similar. I can't help you with fonts though, try something like zstyle to change your fonts. But hopefully OZ has its own font tool. |

squares instead of russian letters, but russian web sites just fine....

I've just checked- it works. You probably did not change the font to be used by the GUI in Appearence application. Select Helvetica. |
