I've clicked on a couple of links in threads for Windows USB driver, but the links don't work. Does anyone have a link for this driver? I want to set up my Z to connect to my windows PC.

Go to this post.
http://www.oesf.org/forums/index.php?showtopic=23885 Use a browser like firefox, right click the link to the file and "save link as" save it as "USBdrivers.zip" You have to perform these extra steps because the fourm's attachments (files pictures) are broken. |

those drivers are also on the first CD that came with your Zaurus. you didn't just use them as beer coasters just because they were in japanese, did you?

HAHAHA Nah, I'm aware that the CD is useful. Somehow I have to get the Japanese Intellisync drivers off of the CD & make them work with the 5500 Intellisync version I've downloaded. And that is gonna be an adventure for someone not so techy minded, like myself. I like a challenge though |

It's been awhile since I installed my drivers, but I think this ZIP file is just a copy off the Sharp CD-ROM.
Unzip it with the directories intact, then run the wizard or add new driver in windows. If you plug in your zaurus first, the wizard should pop up and ask to add new hardware/drivers When it asks for a file, point the wizard to USBdrivers\network\slz3ndis.inf |

Hi,
I am a 100% newbie . I get a C3100 and I connect my 3100 with my PC using a usb cable. However, it doesn't ask me to add a hardware, or when I add a hardware in controal panel, it didn't find anything. Meanwhile, when I connect my Zaurus to my PC running Winxp Prof , the right hand corner shows that it detects my Zaurus. Should i install a USB driver in this case ???? How do I know if WinXP is connected to my Zaurus ? Thank you ! |
