About three weeks ago, I managed to fail a treadmill stress test.
Then I had to go and get a heart cath done. The doctor wouldn't let me go home from the hospital, and a couple days later on October 3rd I had a quadrouple heart bypass done. Thankfully I have my Zaurus and my Kohjinsha to give me somthing to do, and a place like OESF to read things that interest me. It's going to take a while to get back where to I was before, but I'm making very good progress. The doctor said I can drive again in 4-6 weeks. That's going to seem like forever. People, please take care of yourself so you don't end up like I did. Regards, Doug |

Welcome back!
Glad to hear you are on the road to recovery. And yes, to quote a bit of Blade Runner, life is precious! |

Glad to hear you're getting better, I know for myself that I don't take good enough care but am trying. By the way, how are things going with your K now that you have had some time on it.

Don't tell the doctor you are with a Zaurus; zaurus reflashing and configuration can be very stressful, specially when drivers don't load properly !! ;-)
Take care ! |

Thanks everyone for your support.
Glad to hear you're getting better, I know for myself that I don't take good enough care but am trying. By the way, how are things going with your K now that you have had some time on it. cycle_55 The cause of my problem (blockage of the coronary arteries) was mostly due to 35 years of smoking plus bad judgement in my diet. As for my kohjinsha, I love the thing, except for the keyboard, but I'm getting used to poking the keys a little harder. I haven't tried the hairbrush trick yet. Regards, Doug |
