Yeah I know, I'll be giving up the USB host, faster processor, better keyboard etc.
But I've never been quite comfortable with the size of the CXX00 series, especially for my kind of usage (PIM, dictionary and the occasional document editing). Bought in late August 2005, excellent condition, screen protector since day one. With box and standard accesories. No problems at all with the hardware (you can check the forums), and Cacko runs fine on it. Looking to trade with a similar condition, 1 year old or newer C860 (obviously battery life is a concern, so I need proof of the purchase date) with box and standard accesories. or you might try an 860 *plus* a new battery. I believe there are people still selling unopened 860/760 batteries. That would be a fairer trade.

Thanks for the suggestion bluedevils.
Yeah I need new or relatively new battery, but not only that. Naturally I prefer a newer set since less wear and tear on the hardware, including the flash memory. Personally I've only flashed my C1000 3 or 4 times in the process of installing Cacko. I'm hoping to get a C860 of similar condition since I forsee myself using it for a very long time (looking at Sharp's trend of releasing bigger and bigger models). Pricejapan was still selling new C860s up until two weeks ago (I checked with them), so I'm hoping for response from recent buyers. |
