How can I make the efont / unifont chinese characters bigger? They only seem to display at 16pt and on a 750 its realy small. Do I have to install a larger font? is one available
Cheers |

The only publically avaiable efont/unifont is only 16pt - so the zaurus can't change to any other size.
If you want bigger unicode fonts then you will need to make them your self, you could try arial-unicode as it has the biggest range of charstes available. You can find instructions on converting ttf fonts in the how-tos at http://www.oesf.org/index.php?title=Zaurus_How-To_Docs Stu |

Thanks guys. I also got a reply to the first topic I posted in chinesere this. And have been directed to a tar with 8/10/12/16/24pt efonts in it and so Im fixed for now. I will have a look at making some larger chinese fonts available as I have just seen a new GPL release of a CKJ(?) unicode ttf pack from a company who wanted better eastern language support in OOfice. As a side thought is it possable to just convert part of a true type font as I cant read Korean or Japanese?

For future ref the tar is located http://zaurus.cis92.net/feeds/efont.tgz
Just untar it and copy efont_x_50_t10.qpf to /home/QtPalmtop/lib/fonts/ where x is 10 times the font size you want in points |
