i didn't yet tried screen rotation (i mean physically rotating the screen) with debian eabi ! and it works just perfect and quickly (you'd say it's normal as i have angstrom kernel
 but we now need a software keyboard to use the stylus  do you know one i can quickly install ? |

Try xvkbd.
Screen rotation also works well with 2.6.31 yonggun

you can dock xvkbd to the icewm bar. just add it to .icewm/toolbar.
