I was able to get Zubuntu running from my SD card. Two problems so far:
1) A lot of key bouncing, meaning duplicate characters. Can I adjust this? 2) I can't get a wlan card to work with dhcp. I am trying my Linksys 802.11b cf card (WCF12) working. Flashing lights, but no networks in wicd and no IP address. I tried editing /etc/network/interfaces and adding my gateway and essid. I have fooled with ifconfig and iwconfig, but no joy. I tried setting wicd to use wlan0 and wifi0 both of which show via dmesg. I also found the post about changing permissions on dhcp in /etc/password to '0'. Cortez said it was verified as working so I must be missing something. Any ideas. |
