I am thinking of getting a c3000 Japanese model that has a cacko rom installed. I don't know anything about conversions etc. but doubt I would want to go for a Sharp rom based on my experience with my sl-5500 -- I'm using oz.
My question is will installing cacko or pdaxrom be all I need to do to have a fully functioning c3000? Will everything be in English? I noticed trisoft has some downloable stuff for cl3000, is any of this a 'default' English rom? All the manuals and cds will be in Japanese, I've been using Linux for over 9 years and can handle a sl-5500, I drove all over the south using the gps etc., but the Japanese rom and conversions make me uneasy. Any advice or suggestions ... |
