I really need somebody to beta test this and report findings
i would like somebody to back up and then install the gant theme and then install the default theme and then back again. Take various snapshots and send the shots to cresho@earthlink.net so i can post them up in zaurusthemes with your handle name here in the forums to give credit to pic takers. report any missing icons or odd behaviours. thanks a bunch. ill have nioar and oslinux up as soon as i finish the ones for the c1000. porting over takes me roughly 2 hour. doing the actual ipk files and themes takes me a full day. |

Not sure if the 6000 icons will work on my 5500, but I ran through the install/unsinstall. Uninstalled the umicons theme then installed the gant theme. During installation I got a message that the "Extractof some files are failed". Rebooted to no icons at all. Tried to uninstall and was told an error was encountered by ipkg. Tried to install the default and met with the same messages all the way through. Can I uninstall through the console? If so, how? Thanks for the efforts, Psion |

Tried to copy the 48x48 size of the umicons.
Was that the wrong size? |

you want a gant theme for the 5500? its around 100 different icons.

I realize how much effort goes into doing this. Took me awhile yesterday to adjust each of the gant icons in the Cxxx version down to what I thought was the 5500 version (48x48). I even adjusted the gant wallpaper to 240x320. Plus I noticed a lot of icons similar to umicons (yes, I know their based on the same). If I knew what size to make the gant icons for the 5500, I could help out by adjusting them myself. You and bam seem to work on this a lot...just thought I'd contribute if I could - even if it's small potatoes.

Man I hate replying to myself, but I replaced the system fonts with the ones from here. I really like the look of this font. Much nicer on the eyes.

man those fonts look so rad!
im trying calibre...looks sweet. I fixed the bootup screen as well as mediaplayer and opera icons. here is the final file and please report any errors. http://www.zaurusthemes.org/content/zaurus...000_1.0_arm.zip after i get 2 more up for the c1000, ill put them up for the sl6000 as well along with oslinux. |

These install just fine. Though it looks funny when you uninstall the other ones, until you do a reboot nothing has an icon! Makes the gui really fast though!
