 No D-bus Daemon Running, Errors in loading |

I still have a minor problem with a number of applications such as gnumeric and qpdf reporting that No D-Bus daemon is running.
I have checked the all the relevant packages are loaded dbus-1 gnome-vfs-dbus gconf-dbus There is a DBUS service defined /usr/share/dbus-1/services/gconf.service [D-BUS Service] Names=org.gnome.GConf; Exec=/usr/libexec/gconfd-2 Has anyone seen this before or know how to resolve Thanks |

For some unexplained reason the problem has now gone away, I did order a reboot from a su shell session and earlier a log off from the system menu, but since then both gnumeric and qpdf are working a treat. |
