 newbie calendar/category question |

since i can assign a category to an event (new default 5600 rom), i was hoping to be able to view by categories as well. there doesn't seem to be a way to view *only* Personal events?
Also, what is that "link file" setting? |

I don't think there is a category filter when viewing your Calendar. Seems kind of pointless to have categories in the Calendar without this
The link file settings determine whether the Calendar searches your SD or CF memory cards for files with modification dates that match any dates you are viewing. If a file has been modified on a date you are viewing in the month view then it puts a pin icon on that date and in the day view the third tab lets you see the files modified on that day and open them in the associated application. This can slow your Calendar down and you might want to turn it off if you do not find it useful. It will always search /home/zaurus/Documents in internal memory for modified files however and you cannot turn that off. |
