I think you can say Google search engine doesn't register the web. The file is robots.txt or similar.

I just finished creating my first ipk file installer. So yes the themes will be removable as well.
What i need to know from some of you guys is.... if you would like the icons all installed so you dont need dto worry about icons for the zaurus? or just install default icons and you guys be given the chance to pic the icons for those excess softwares to change the icons in the tab? version one of the default and also umicons are done. i just need more info in order to keep things consistent and everybody happy. |

I vote to have them included...because I'm basically lazy...they look great (from your example)...and if I don't like them I can always reinstall the cool-icon package I use now. But I bet you get most people electing to have the default icons and "roll their own". |

mediaplayer is getting a face lift along with calendar and todo and contacts
for the installer, i am making my own tabs and slider mods. I would like to know the file i needed to modify to make my sliders default besides theugly ones on the system? that way all will work in one swift install and i elected to put in the icons for the extra software but you guys will use the tab setting software to asign the icons per softare you own. the reason being is that if i include it and you uninstall, you will run into problems. im gona try and keep the theme installer smaller than 1mb. its at 1.7mb but i know i can compress further without compromising quality. |

It's finished. zumicons theme installer is done. I also created zdefaults installer and thats done as well. it works great.
here is a small rundown on the install process. 1. backup your z 2. uninstall previous themes made by myself. 3. install the new theme. 4. restart qtopia under settings, shutdown, restart qtopia. then all the theme images, taskbar, windowing will show up. maybee in version 2 ill change lower icons and top tabs. it took me 3 days just to get this up and running because i had to figure out a few things. --some highlights-changed icons in mpegplayer, opera, image, clock --did not do calendar, todo, addressbook due to it looking too good and i preffer people to switch over to ko/pi software. I might how ever create icons pack for it later on -- added a xtra folder so when you use the tab settings, you can assign specific icons to your favorite software. I added plenty of them. as soon as zaurusthemes.org comes around, ill ad it. projects currently working on 9 more zaurus themes for the sl500 and ill need a guinee pig to work on the ones for the c300, c1000, c800, etc. okay NOW its working. i had problems getting it to work. Download it from -----------------> TheLocker |

I downloaded it, but I could only install icons-umicons.
When I tried installing the other default package, it gave me an erro saying that icons-umicons was supplying that package already(something like that). Now, I got all the icons changed, but not the wallpaper(not the whole theme, only new icons). I'm running Opie version 1.2.0. |

hey guy! the umicons is for zaurus sl5500 running sharp rom 3.10 or 3.13. I highly recommend 3.13. i saw that you are using opie. it wont work on opie cuz i did not make the ipk for it. The theme manager is different for the opie series. the reason you dont see the wallpaper or the taskbar look like mines is because its running on a different theme manager.
Do me a favor......find me an opie theme installer or something i can go by to help me design one for your zaurus. It will save me time in doing so...just a few links will do. ill just port the stuff over and redo the instructions which shouldnt take too long after and ill have an installer available. find me the zaurus download link rom image for the opie version you are using and i also need a theme ipk so i can go by. ill do it on my own but if you can help me a bit here, it will save me time since i really am a busy guy. anyway read the install file that came with the zip file. it gives specific instructions on how to install and uninstall. it works on 3 zauruses i tried and i know its not specific to mines. |
