hello, just bought this card as i was using it like a charm with my old z750, so i thought it will just be some ipk issue. but it seems not sad.gif

tried therenarod
and also to download ipk from oesf site but it refuses to install into internal memory ( only option)

just says a laconic " sorry , can't install this ipk, something went wrong"

no more luck...
tried a dpkg -c or -i from a terminal but don't want either (sorry, i'm not a linux guru)

did someone managed to get bt cf card work into a 6000? for me , the purpose is only to dial via bt to my mobile phone to surf from my 6000 in gprs.

thanks for your answers wink.gif

some news, tried an ipkg install with root privileges from a terminal session, so bluez installed ok but my cf bt card still recognised as a normal cf in the taskbar, and no applet to configure a bt dial.

any help would be appreciated.
thanks

ok, tried from strach

installed the 3 ipks to internal memory, but @ suspend and resume, still frozen
at reboot process, error msg saying:
"/sbin/ldconfig:usr.libbluetooth.so.1 not a symbolic link"

then load the bluetooth module.

haven't done the rest of the how to as i don't knox how to edit the files. dont know ANYTHING of vi, even how to get out of it...wink.gif

i'll try to investigate.

anyway, when i'm dialing the ir with /dev/rfcomm modem, my mobile phone sees a "zaurus" in the air, but no luck to have it to dial

Rip : you should download a simplest editor like Zeditor : it has nothing to do with vi .

I would be glad to help you , but have no bt card : so can't try. smile.gif

I generally avoid to use Zeditor to edit config files. Because Zeditor can't distinguish ` from ' , which is a vital difference.

there's alot of vi tutorial if you do a google search. Most of the stuff you would use is just in the first two or three pages. worth the effort to read it IMHO. for getting out of it ":q" smile.gif

so from scratch, installed latest bluez, then sudo, then susresume ipkg.
my cf keep freezing the 6k at resume,
at reboot: "/sbin/ldconfig:usr.libbluetooth.so.1 not a symbolic link"
then load bluetooth driver normally.

in page 2 of the howto, they ask to run dptool browse from terminal, my terminal says dptool not available...
so i'm stuck there.

anyway, my mobile phone discovered a "zaurus" in air, paired it with pin 1234 but can't dial or send from/to .

any help?
i'd be glad to loan my cf bt to a parisian if needed , or to do some screenshot if needed.

thanks to all
