I'm not a big fan of the flip style cases that basically just clip onto the outside of the Zaurus. I have a Palmpal nylon case intended for the 860 size models (from conics, they no longer have them), which is okay for my 3200, but I'd like something a little better.
This is the case I'm currently using: http://conics.net/shp/pda/zaurus-sl-c700/c...palmpal-02.html |

I really like my Piel Frama. The case does a pretty good job of protecting the Z thanks to the the pocket that bottom (keyboard portion) of Z slides into. It also isn't as thick as my PDAir.
If you can find one the CaseLogic Dave Mirra GameBoy Shuttle case is very similar to your old case. |

I have a couple of Pelican cases for my Z. I use them when taking my Z on my motorcycle, in the saddlebags.
The "Pelican 1020 micro case" fits the later clamshells perfectly with a quarter inch of extra space only on the end. The long sides fit snugly. With a thin piece of foam on top, I also have room for my GPS CF card and another IO card such as Wifi. These are hard cases for rugged use.

The flip cases would offer even less protection, I would think! Thanks for the replies everyone, keep them coming. Both of my Z's have taken swan dives onto concrete in the PDAir and Piel Frama cases which is significantly more force than what busted the LCD on my Psion when it was in that neoprene case. |

Don't you find the Pelican cases make your setup kind of chunky? I can still fit my Z in the Piel Frama in my jacket pocket with only a small bulge in the jacket. |

I also have a Piel Frama case.
I mentioned the Pelican cases for an alternative protection. You can drop one of these in a river, and if you retrieve it before the current sweeps it away, the contents will still be just as dry as they were when on land. These cases are good for boating, camping, and hiking/backpacking. |

It's built to last! wrong link? anyway, i have dropped the Zaurus with pdair and survived tons on to concrete. i only have scuff marks on the side. pdair is thick and you will never worry about lcd damage. i stick itin my pocket but of course its thick. |

I think the main problem with size is the C3200 itself!
I'm curious, you guys don't find the Piel Frama case annoying? It just seems to me dealing with that extra layer, and the cover for the screen would be annoying. |
