I need a new stylus but live in the UK, and cannot find anywhere that sells a sharp original - what are the alternatives - does the Tungsten work - what about the Belkin models - any of those fit?

Any help is most appreciated !!

You can always have a look on Brando's website, I've purchased a 3-in-1 stylus there for the C3000, they do ship worldwide in a week or so (I've no interests in that particular shop, I'm just a long time satisfied customer).

Didn't really try any other stylus than this 3-in-1 and the stock Sharp one, but the 3-in-1 pentopia for Tungsten T is slightly to big to fit in the 3000 (I'd be afraid to get it stuck in there, though other Tungsten T styluses might fit better, who knows...).

You didn't mention which model of Zaurus you have, btw... Not sure if it matters (maybe they're all identical - the 3000 is my first Zaurus, so I wouldn't know) but it probably can't hurt to tell! wink.gif

I have searched through .. there is no definitive answer for the UK, Amazon UK do not stock the Stylus like the US, and I have seen nothing definate of an alternative to the Sharp Stylus thats works exactly like the original without modification.

btw I have a Z 5500.

and

or Shirtpocket:

Hope this helps...

I've found that the original Tungsten T stylus from Palm works very well in my 5x00 Zaurii. It doesn't seem to fit so well in the 860, but I've got my Pentopia for that.

The original stylus seems to be a wee bit cheap.

I find that I prefer a papermate mechanical pencil.

http://www.eofficedirect.com/Product/Detai...ion=&i=PAP30301

It's longer... thicker... and doesn't break -- ever... (well, I don't press hard enough to break it)
and it doubles as a writing utensil!

ya, ya, it doesn't FIT in the little slot on the pda, but that is not something that I would use
anyway (I don't like parts that can/will fall off).

Scott
