QUOTE(BarryW @ May 15 2006, 03:54 PM) Is the thing even out yet?? Is there an english page?? I've given up on trying translation software, never gives good results. I can't read Japanese either but most of it is guessable: CODE Microsoft Windows Mobile 5.0 software for Pocket PC 日本語版 Microsoft Windows Mobile 5.0 software for Pocket PC Japanese version CODE Intel PXA270 プロセッサ 416MHz The Japanese probably means CPU CODE 640×480ドット、3.7型 65,536色 モバイルASV液晶(バックライト付) 640x480 pixels, 3.7", 65K colours, ASV LCD CODE Flash128MB(本体システム領域等含む)/SDRAM64MB(ワークエリア) 128MB flash, 64MB ram CODE PHS(W-SIM)対応/ワイヤレスLAN(IEEE802.11b準拠)内蔵 Uses PHS, builtin wlan CODE miniSD カードスロット×1、W-SIMスロット×1 1 x miniSD slot, 1 x W-SIM slot CODE USBポート(miniBコネクター)、イヤホンマイク端子(平型) No usb-host CODE リチウムイオン充電池(EA-BL12)、ACアダプター(EA-75) Uses EA-BL12 batteries, and EA-75 AC adaptor CODE 約5時間 5 hours talktime CODE 約200時間(電波状態ランプ消灯時) 約100時間(電波状態ランプ点灯時) This refers to 200 and 100 hours standby time, no idea what the differing conditions are CODE 約133万画素 Seems to be a 1.3M pixel camera CODE 幅 約70×高さ 約130×厚さ 約26(本体閉時、突起部除く) Dimensions 70mm x 130mm x 26mm CODE 約220(タッチペン、充電池含む) Weight 260gm (including battery?) CODE USBケーブル、CD-ROM、ACアダプター、取扱説明書、ソフトケース、その他 Comes with USB cable, CD-ROM, AC adaptor and even some manuals YMMV -- cheers |

Do a search on "W-Zero3" and you'll find several threads where it has already been discussed.

Interestingly enough, the VP of R&D at Sharp Japan who initially worked on the Z project is the man who headed up the W-Zero 3.

Just to note: a new model has been released, a slimmed down version that swaps screen-size for a phone keypad:
http://www.engadgetmobile.com/2006/07/04/s...hotness-redefi/ Also worth noting is that at the announcement, the Sharp representative apparently mentioned that Sharp intends to continue the Zaurus line as well. - ashikase - daitoushi, osaka, japan |

(especially will they release a concurrent update for existing zaurii??) I guess that matters less and less with 3rd party development, but still... |
