Hi all,
I recently succeeded in creating a working fedora 8 image for my SL-C3100 (see this item in my blog). It's still fresh, so it's currently just a minimal root system, with no x-server installed, but apart from that, it's working great so far. I'm still trying to convert the missing x-server related ipk's, which are zaurus specific, into rpm's to make installation easier. But, for the time being, I think some of you may want to try it out yourself. The problem is that my root file image is currently about 220Mb in size, and I don't have that much space left to host it. So, if any of you have some space left and would be willing to donate this, that would be great. Cheers, cortez |

Wow! Nice work.
I guess it is only a matter of time before we see Ubuntu on our little Zs as well.... |
