Hello all,
I'm sure this has been asked before, but I can't find a definite answer - is it possible to sync iCal etc on my Mac with my OpenZaurus Opie calendar? Its Opie v1.2 (OZ 3.5.6). Thanks Allan |

QUOTE(allanjard @ Apr 11 2005, 02:22 PM) Hello all, I'm sure this has been asked before, but I can't find a definite answer - is it possible to sync iCal etc on my Mac with my OpenZaurus Opie calendar? Its Opie v1.2 (OZ 3.5.6). Thanks Allan There's an application called ZiCal that has been useful for a lot of folks when synching. I find it's a heck of a lot easier to use KO/Pi. I have several separate iCalendars (Work, Holidays. Recreation) that I copy individually from my "Calendars" folder on my iBook to, say, the SD card. Then I sync to the local file from the KO/Pi options menu. It takes all of ten seconds to drag & drop the file and the "ask on conflict" setting catches all duplicates. I'm not sure if ZMacSync supports OZ -- it may only be Sharp ROM due to the DTM database. This still isn't the definite answer you're looking for, I'm afraid. I ran into these same frustrating sync problems with the Sharp ROM and finally settled on using KO/Pi, which turned out to be excellent. |

Hello eji,
I was intererested in your comments about the KO/Pi ROM. I have an iBook G4 and a Z5600. I have been using Open Zaurus but getting mixed (buggy) results since ditching the Sharp ROM. How is the KO/PI ? Is it stable and consistant? Thx. |
