I'm not sure if installing netswitch changed something, or if I inadvertantly changed something, or if a file has been lost or corrupted. But since installing (and uninstalling) netswitch, my wifi no longer works unless I manually insmod p80211 and prism2_usb. I have added 2 scripts to /etc/rc.d/rc5.d to do this automatically, but I am sure that this is not how it was originally.
Anyone know what script is supposed to load those 2 drivers? |

I did open a thread in security/networking too. There were no replies in either thread til yours today. I no longer need this info as I have restored a nand backup from when wireless was working.
By the way, sorry about your misfortune with your 6000. |
