I can run Windows 3.1 on it, but I haven't had any luck getting the mouse working.
I've installed the inputhelper applet but I haven't been able to figure out the correct configuration for my usb mouse. |

QUOTE(dougeeebear @ Sep 3 2007, 02:10 PM) I can run Windows 3.1 on it, but I haven't had any luck getting the mouse working. I've installed the inputhelper applet but I haven't been able to figure out the correct configuration for my usb mouse. meanwhile i tried an old game called llama on cacko + dosbox 0.63 + 128 mb swap on sd card + overclocking. it was really slow, not playable. what about the performance of windows 3.11? does it make really sense to try it? are there big performance differences to pdaxrom versions? thanx... malik |

In the dosbox.conf file, try setting cycles to a higher value like 3500 instead of the default 1500.
Different dos programs need different values to perform suitably. With this setting (or even higher) Windows 3.1 loads up reasonably well. I have been to play the solitaire game by using the tab and enter keys. Also if you have Alt key configured, you can access the various Windows menus. But as far as using the mouse, I haven't been able to get it working. |
