Hi,

I have a C1000 that would make an excellent test/dev device for the Zaurus Community.
The LCD is pristine, no scratches or anything like that. I actually purchased this new in
Akihabra, Japan.

For Sale:

1 C1000 running zubuntu
1 Original AC/DC Power Adapter
1 Original box with all manuals and install CD (and its still shiny!)

I tried to find a good price but I can't find one on Ebay to compare.

Send me your offer.

Sincerely,
btanoue

Sad to have one more zaurus user go. Hope you find a good owner for your akita. smile.gif

As you can see, I am in the same situation as you are in. One Akita and one collie.

I am also an c1000 owner. Currently I switched to netwalker.
C1000 is waiting for different usage. As far I can tell You will not get more than 100$ US for your device.
You will be lucky to get 50$.

For this reason I plan to make a web server from my c1000. It consumes very little power and can host apache+mysql+php very well.

Another way to ulilize c1000 is to embed it in home automation (temperature monitoring, simple automation - locking gates and so on). But that will require a bit of work.

Hi,

So I started my Zaurus up again.
Installed Debian, and waiting for a CF/PCMCIA adapter to upgrade my WCF12 card to support WPA.

Next is seeing if I can get it to work as a low power NAS device on my network.
Thinking of using a small external USB 2.5" HD with an enclosure.

Wireless B is not bad, and being wireless means its more portable.

That being said,

Anybody interested?
