Hello !
I have banged my head against the wall with this long enough. Have a SL-5500, a 1GB SD and 1GB CF. I would like to have an experienced person install Collie in an optomized configuration and return the device to me. "Collie" is a codename for the SL-5500. Do you mean you want an alternate ROM installed in an optimized fashion?
EDIT: If this is what you mean, you may want to specify what ROM (pdaXrom, OZ, Cacko, etc.) you want installed. Just as a note, I have no experience with non-SL-Cxx(x) models, so you probably don't want me trying to install a new ROM for you. |

I have my 5500 and installed OZ/OPIE and OZ/GPE on it several times so if you need some help, I'll be happy to. You pay for shipping back and fro. Charges, give it to charity and email me the receipt.
Just one thing, I'm gonna be out of state-side for awhile ... so unless international shipping interest you ...  If you want, you can also post your problems with installing new roms and we can guide or point you to sites for step-by-step instructions.
