I just came across this really great icon creating and editing program, IconoMaker 3.0 at http://www.iconempire.com/
You can edit all types of icons with it. Great for editing icons for the Zaurus. I think you'll like it, I know I do. Doug |

I wonder if it's possible to port babygimp to the Z? http://babygimp.sourceforge.net/ i had a quick look at the site and it appears that babygimp should work on the z since all it needs is perl/perltk and imagemagic, all which is available and installable on the z. the only problem might be version incompatabilities since the site does not mention which version of those is required and the z might have an older version of those. anyway, why not just use the real gimp on the z since icons on the z are png images which gimp supports and most windows icons/image editiing applications don't support png |

The editor I mentioned does support png files.
That's why I'm using it |

If you are running Linux on your desktop, you can also use kiconedit, which is part of the kdegraphics3-imaging package on recent Distros. It supports xpm, png, jpg, sgi, bmp and about 7 other file formats, and is free.
