Does anyone know where I can get a light-weight JRE, for my Zaurus SL-5500 running Sharp ROM 3.10, Kernel 2.4.18, with currently no SD/CF card for memory... Also, if I do get one, is it possible for me to run Java Applets & games through Opera 7.30 with this JRE if one is found?

-Thanks

basically, j2me (which jeode is an implementatio of) is meant to be a lightweight jre without all the frills. if you need a full jre to run java apps, then you would need blackdown jre which is like 16MB or so in size plus you need X/qt if the apps are graphical. There is also a swing library which you can add to jeode which will allow you to run some some basic java apps with GUI under Qtopia In order to run java applets through opera, you would need a java plugin for opera which isn't easy to do on a PC so I doubt it is possible on the Z. However, you can use the appletviewer to run applets without opera.
