There's not much activity lately here, looking at the responses to my Fedora 8 post.
So let's give it another try then, maybe Ubuntu is more interesting than Fedora. See this post in my blog.

It's just a minimal command-line system, but it works.

How fast is this thing anyway? i had debian on my C1000 and it was painfully slow. is ubuntu any faster than debian ?
