I generally buy those rubbery/gel cases for my phones, but there wasn't such an option for the G.

I have access to a 3D printer, but I know nothing about how to design things, so I was wondering whether there were any people here on the forum who would be able to design a case? I would try it out and then we could upload the design to Thingiverse etc?

Maybe we could get Planet to release a 3D model of the outside shell to make this easier?

It occurred to me that if you're serious about developing for this, you need two of them at least.

Or, buy a second now to get the discount, wait to get it and sell it because the price will have gone up.

We'd need to compile Qt 2 and the binaries, but I reckon it should be possible to get the Gemini running Zaurus apps for which we have the source code.
The original binaries probably won't work even running in Docker because the kernel API changed around version 2.2? So the libc and glibc won't be compatible.

What accessories do you think you'll use most often with your Gemini?

For me, I'll be using my smartwatch (Huawei W1) and bluetooth headset (LG Tone "collar style") so I can keep a discreet eye on notifications and make and receive calls when the G is in my pocket,

Mike Halsey posted about using a bluetooth dialler/handset: https://geminiplanet.com/2018/01/17/using-t...etooth-handset/
I think that idea is good if you've got an oversized phone. Certainly, when I had an Xperia Z Ultra, a huge 6.4" tablet, a bluetooth headset was less conspicuous!
