I just bought a 2GB SanDisk SD card for my Z. I mounted the current 1GB card on my laptop and tarred up the contents. I then put the 2GB card on the laptop, created an ext2 filesystem and untarred the same directory onto the card.
Booted the Zaurus, and it booted from the internal card, and didn't appear to see the SD. I've done a quick search here, but the only thing I found was IRT c3xxx series in the cacko forum. I am continuing to look. Has anyone had any success getting a 2GB card working on a 5500? I'm running Hentges. Thanks, --Storm |

Collie (5000/5500) supports only 1GB cards - not bigger.

A hacked version of the binary driver for collie has come out recently. There are claims it can handle 2G SD cards. I have not yet had the chance to test.
