Any time after noon or so is fine for me, I'll be pedalling my bike down there from Yonge and Eglinton.

Damn, I just realised I'm doing something else all day Saturday.
Should we make it Sunday instead or put it off for a week or so? |

Okay, Grant, Conor, shall we make it Sunday afternoon the 18th, from about 1:00 PM on? I can even put it on Linuxcaffe's calendar.

Neither Grant nor Conor can get in on that day, so it's off.

I PMed a list of people, each of whom is either obviously in Toronto or has posted here with a good chance of being in the neighbourhood:
The last recommended place was the Linux Cafe: http://linuxcaffe.com I know the place, as I meet there with the local Ruby guys, and the local Linux guys (obviously) have some connection to that place (aside from executive meetings there). I'd be willing to do a demonstration for installing a few different ROMs/distributions on my SL-C1000, and handing it around to be played with. ---- The list so far: * Sy Ali -- whenever * brashley46 -- whenever? * coreilly -- In August or so * dfisher -- The weekend of the 24th/25th * Spiritmale -- The weekend of the 24th/25th or the weekend after. My own interest would initially be trying to connect to their wireless access point ... no joy the last time I was there. |

I have very little networking experience and _zero_ wireless experience so I can't help, but all hope is not lost for wireless access. I surfed a little and I found lots of references to your card running on Linux and the Zaurus.

I connect at home, at work, and at a hotel or 2 around town, it's just Linuxcaffe's access point doesn't get recognised. |
