Hi Dan
The C860 is not SDIO-capable, so you can only use memory SD cards in the SD slot, no Bluetooth or Wi-Fi. You'll have to use the CF slot for any BT/WiFi/Lan/GPS options. Oh yes, thanks for the measurements of the box! |

Hmm, now I'm a bit confused here. I had an email from K last Friday, same as everyone else saying that he would be shipping my headphones on Saturday or Monday. Yesterday I emailed him to ask for a tracking number and he said that there wasn't one as it was being sent via the Japanese Postal Service. But other people seem to have been given tracking numbers...Gulp...

Hi Jo,
My C860 arrived in a package sent via the Japanes Postal Service and it arrived before I'd received a tracking number so I don't know if one existed or not... Dan. |

totaln00b : hmm, it could be because postage is expensive compared to express shipping except for small items ?

Yeah, he is very helpful.
Unfortunately I'm still waiting for my package - NOT due to "K", but Customs, seems like they don't know where it is at the moment *SIGH*. Seems like fate has decided I should not own a Zaurus. |

I got my C750 from K this weekend. Shipment was quick and communication was easy. But...my Zaurus shows it as only 62mb of total memory and 32mb of total flash. I sent him an email about it. I hope he will be as communicative as he has been so far. I'll keep you updated.

Just found this link-http://www.bargainpda.com/default.asp?newsID=1592#memory
This might exaplain it-" Memory According to the System Info applet, total memory on the device is 96MB, divided between 32MB of Flash Memory (for storage of programs and the OS) and 64 MB of RAM, i.e. program ececution and data memory. Initially this was confusing; it seems to be at odds with Sharp's original press release and Dynamism's page, which both say that the C750 has 64 MB Flash and the C760 has 128 MB Flash. If you want to see for yourself, here are the Memory, Storage and Version tabs from that applet. Dynamism technial support explained to me that 32 MB of Flash Memory is reserved (and locked) by Sharp for the Operating System, which is why the apparent Flash is only 32 MB. " So- All I can do is recommend K. Again- fast shipping (got it to the US in 4 days and marked it as gift) and great communication. |

Yeehaa!
Got my C860 today - Thanks Keisuke!! I will definately buy from him again, I take back all the negative sentiments I previously had What a beautiful machine. Only downside is that I had to pay Customs fees - more than US$100, ouch. But all worth it in the end! |
