Can the dictionary files of the 3100 be used on my desktop? Would be handy..

I'm pretty sure they'll work on any EPWING program. My 3100 is supposedly coming tonight so I'll find out tonight. biggrin.gif

I'm assuming that you mean the Koujien and Genius dictionaries? As far as I have found, it's not possible to use the files apart from the Zaurus. Yes, they are in EPWING format, but they are encrypted. To use them, you need Sharp's version of libeb, which links to a library called libzsecure; as far as I know, no x86 (or other non-ARM) build of these libraries exists.

It is possible, though, to use the libraries on other Z models, by copying and force-loading the above mentioned libraries.
