Hello,
while looking for an application similar to Xdialog I found qshdlg <http://tbox.jpn.org/wiki/linuzau/wiki.cgi?qshdlg> Unfortuately the docs are all japanese. Does someone have experience with the software or a link to docs in English? Thank you in advance. -- Jochen, SL-C1000 (Sharp ROM) |

If you don't find docs, I think opie-sh solves about the same problem. I don't know which one is more versatile.

QUOTE(tml @ Jan 4 2006, 11:10 PM) If you don't find docs, I think opie-sh solves about the same problem. I don't know which one is more versatile. Thank you . Presently I am using opie-sh. It is made for a 5500 (resolution 320x200). This is normally no problem. But opie-sh does not display a taskbar icon. If opie-sh displays a dialog and you try to switch to another program, it is virtually impossible to switch back to opie-sh. If I try it with <Shift><Home>, the Zaurus crashes *hard*, it is necessary to reset it by tapping on the small switch in the battery compartment. That makes opie-sh only the second choice. -- Jochen SL-C1000 (Sharp ROM) |
