I had no luck formatting the CF card or using it to flash a new OS / desktop.
I got a new CF card and it works fine...problem solved at least! |

just read the thread after having the same problem with flashing lights... im using a kingston elite pro 50x 1Gb which works in the z but seemingly not as a flasher
 perhaps Zub if you read this, which card did work for you or others, whiuch card work ?? |

I have noticed that a few of my 'new' CF cards aren't actually partitioned, they're just raw formatted somehow and winbloze plays along happily. creating a partition with fdisk, then formatting via mkfs.msdos /dev/hda1 makes CF play nicely with my Z for flashing.(mind you I do all this on my z as I can only get fdisk in winbloze to work on the ide channels.) |
