A tip for anyone else who has been having trouble getting the Jmap utility (used for zooming in on map images or any other image,actually) to install :
The ipk file has been stored as a tar file instead of gzip and won't be recognised by the package installer so gzip the package then rename the file back to the original name. It then installs ok. gzip jmap_20030109_arm.ipk cp jmap_20030109_arm.ipk.gz jmap_20030109_arm.ipk |

Thank your for the tip. With the installation i had after your tip no problems.
But when i want to start the programm i get a black window with the demand to wait or "Programm loading" something like this. But nothing happen except i got the normal display back. Does anybody got this working? Thanks, climber Device: SL-C3100 with Cacko 1.23 ROM |

Even after following the instructions above, this thing does not work on the SL-6000. I ran this app before on SL-5500 with no problems. On the 6000 the icon turns to the "launch" icon but nothing after that.
