Hello,
Been trying to get my SL-5500 to sync with my PowerBook G4 for a week or more now. I have Trolltech Qtopia desktop 1.7.0 installed on the PB. The PB is running 10.3. I have the 3.5 release of OpenZaurus flashed into the SL-5500. I notice that my Sync and Sync All buttons inside Qtopia Desktop are always greyed out? I'm also not quite able to get the two machines to ping each other. Any ideas? I would love to get it to sync up... it's the missing link that's keeping me from using the SL-5500 more than my Palm T3. Thanks, -matt |

You have a rom problem namely that yours is flashed qtopia doesn't work with any of the 3.x roms personaly id stick linux on the g4 and use usbnet (i had a palm to get the pim info over just beam it youl have to re catagorzie but its better than reentering (even with a keyboard))

Open the security settings app on the Z, and select your IP, set it to 'Any' if you are unsure.
It will ask you to allow the connection or not when QD tries to connect. QD 1.7 works with OZ. |

make sure the zaurus is broadcasting to the mac settings/network
