with the new C1000's coming out next week, I was thinking we should update the forums. Do you all think the C1000 is different enough to have it's own forums or should I just add the C1000 to the existing Cxx0 forums (and just update those forums names).
Thanks for your feedback. |

I'd combine it with the C3000 series..just update the forum section to say
SL-C3000/C1000 The C1000 is really just a variation on the C3000 from what I can tell.... Thanks, Mark |

yeah, go with C3000 sounds better than Cxx0 to me. but anyway, nobody has laid hands onto it yet. Well, it actually should boil down to the actual users opinion. Why not hold on and wait until someone get a hold onto it. after they've tried both things in C3000 and Cxx0, we should listen to their votes, which actually counts.
Maybe for now list as a seperate C1000 forum so people can cast speculations in a centralized place, then merge later? But sure put a lot of admin work on you |

A combine c3000/c1000 forum is logical. Same cpu, usb host, ram (64mb), keyboard layout, stock software and graphics on the cpu. The tell tale sign is that maslovsky said it would be easy to make a c3000 cacko ROM from a c1000 cacko ROM.

I like both ideas, so I setup a seperate temporary forum, and I will create a poll in that forum. The forum will probably end up with the 3000, but at least this way the community can decide. I am also going to move any topics on the C1000 to this new forum. Thanks for the feedback! |
