Hello all!
A OZ 3.5.3 pre-release is available at http://oz.hentges.net/snapshots/. Currently, there's only a collie Opie image online, more will be added when someone finds the time to build them  The feed isn't complete. It only contains Opie packages. In the final release you'll find all packages from 3.5.2 (and more). Please help the OZ team with testing this ROM. Each and every bug you encounter with this ROM is very likely to be found in the final release. So, if you encounter problems, please reply to this thread. Thanks

Hey CoreDump this pre-release is awesome it fixed the mp3 playback problem I was having with opie-player2. A couple of small issues to report. I am using an SL-5000 the original developer ones..
1. The url http://oz.hentges.net/snapshots/ is no longer working, http://www.oz.hentges.net/snapshots/ is working instead. The feed url had to be changed accordingly in ipkg.conf 2. Package Manager crashed with a SIGSEGV when trying to install a package, the one I tried was opie-mediaplayer2-skin-default. Command line ipkg install worked. 3. Installing opie-mediaplayer2 via ipkg, the media player launcher didnt appear immediately, had to launch it via terminal. The launcher appeared later automagically. Thanks. |
