I spent a good amount of time researching options for connecting a Zaurus to a Citrix MetaFrame server. I never found a good solution, but for future researchers I consolidated what I learned here:
http://www.oesf.org/index.php?title=Networ...or_my_Zaurus.3F Some of the information may apply to using Microsoft Windows Terminal Services, the RDP protocol and of course the ICA protocol. The lack of a proven solution was a real dissapointment: A handheld with a good keyboard and a landscape 640x480 screen would make an incredible mobile Citrix client. |

guanxi,
I have been searching high and low for a Citrix solution myself. It would be real handy. Thanks for the info! BTW-I contacted thinkofit re. their Winconnect Z product, and they said it was an "obsolete" product, and they don't sell it anymore. It's still available at handago-but there is no free trial-and I'm not going to pay 79.00 for a piece of software if I can't even test run it first! I have a 5500, running the Sharp 3.10 ROM. (In case you find something out there that might work...) :-) |

That way, you have access to a Citrix client and any other software that requires Windows. Thanks for the info on the WindowsZ client; I added it to the FAQ. |
