Went to Target, and in the school section I found this case for $5.99 USD
Hope the pictures do it justice. It is a snug fit, and I added the velcro to keep it closed but the case adds no bulk so the C1K will still fit in my shirt pocket. Now if someone could just help me to attach 3 ~29Kb pictures to my this thread.... Thanks, gdog |

At the bottom of the Reply screen is the Browse button with "Add This Attchment" option.
in the "File Attachments" section. Simply select your jpeg files from your hard disk and attach. Try to keep is small though, since it uses up bandwidth. |

QUOTE(nilch @ May 23 2005, 09:39 PM) At the bottom of the Reply screen is the Browse button with "Add This Attchment" option. in the "File Attachments" section. Simply select your jpeg files from your hard disk and attach. Try to keep is small though, since it uses up bandwidth. Too funny. I had my camera set to take both 5MP and Email pictures, and the email pics have jpe extensions. These should work now. Like I said I added the velcro. THe Z will fit either way but I didn't want to be pushing against the screen to secure it, and I wanted the charging port accessbile with the flap open, so that's why the Z is in the case in the way I have it. I also added some 2mm black, self-adhesive foam on the bottom and to the two sides between the seams of the case for a little added shock protection. Sorry the pictures aren't better but in email mode I think the resolution is only 640 x 480. All in all, for $6 USD I'm pleased as punch. It will fit cased in my shirt pocket, and though snug it slides out easily enough for use.

I'm using a case made by HP for one of their PDA's.
About $13. Goes in endwise. Can close the case with a CF wireless card inserted. ![]() ![]()

QUOTE(KwaiFeh @ Jun 2 2005, 01:26 PM) KwaiFeh, No belt strap but it would be easy enough to attach one. I actually created another version of the same case using attractive pearlescent snaps on the front cover, using an inexpensive crimping tool and some snaps from a local craft store. I don't quite like it as much so I'm still using the velcro model, but I may change my mind, as the snap version (three snaps in a slight V-pattern across the front), does look quite nice. I didn't do the belt strap thing because I wanted to carry mine in my shirt pocket. With the extra 2mm self-adhesive padding I inserted between the sides of the case it really should provide sufficient shock protection should it slide out of my pocket onto the floor. They make these things called t-nuts that you can buy with and without the barbs on them (you'd want the barbless), and of different heigths. Two to four of those (~1.00 USD) would make it very easy to attach a strap across the back of the case in order to slide it on your belt. If it wasn't so early here I'd take a picture of them and show you as I use them a lot for other things, but it's about 4am here and I don't want to wake my family. Regards, gdog |

QUOTE(Ryo @ Jun 3 2005, 01:33 AM) Ryo, Gotta admit the Niteize makes some nice cases. But for some reason I'm always brushing my cell phone or whatever I'm wearing on my hip against the wall or doorjamb or something. That's why I opted to try a shirt pocket model fhis time around for this Z. If it doesn't work out though I might check out that model of Niteize that you pictured. Regards, gdog |
