 5500 "out Of Memory" Notice |

I have Debian + X/Qt up and running on my sl 5500 with tkc rom 2.0 alpha 3, the async kernel and the patch to speed up SD read/writes and place /home on SD. All 64MB RAM is RAM, with 35MB appearing as swap space.
I have also created a swapfile on my SD card in /.debroot. Why am I still getting low on memory errors when I am apt-getting? I am asked (rather, *told* that X/Qt server must be shut down). Bill |
