after many many months of trying to find a usb mini A to female cable.......FINALLY found someone who sells it! The distributor of iriver in aus sells them and they just got a deliver of them in! They dont sell to public usually, but in this occassion they are ok to do so.

The same is true of all other eectrical stuff I see when I return to Australia on vacation (not mention that it's at least 6 months behind Japan in getting goods to the stores). Stu |

Stu  its not only electronics, its actually a lot of things. we're always behind the rest of the world and its always much more expensive here - for no particular reason! i guess the justification is that we are so far away from everything.... |

Today I went to a Hardware store (Thrifty-Link) to buy a screwdriver and found something interesting, USB mini A cable for AUD $9.95!!!
Damn it, none of the computer or electronics shops have it, but a hardware store did!!!!! Anyway, its made by Avico and is called USB Digital Camera Cord, model no CC1542. Its a USB A to mini A cable. They also had a USB mini A to mini B as well, model no CC1522. Have a nice day
